17-1504. That any telephone company principally doing business in any rural district in the state of Kansas at any regular annual meeting or at a special meeting duly called may change from an ordinary corporation into a cooperative society as provided by K.S.A. 17-1501, 17-1502 and 17-1503 and 17-1515, by a vote representing the majority of all the stock of such corporation, and thereafter such corporation shall be and become a cooperative society as provided by said sections.
