19-4332. Convicted persons ineligible for office; forfeiture, when. Any person who is convicted of a misdemeanor under this act shall, for a period of five (5) years, be ineligible for appointment to or employment in a position under the provisions of this act, and if he is an officer or employee of the county, shall forfeit his office or position.
