Attorney General's Opinions:

State board of education member elections; disqualifications; state employees. 89-65.

A person may not concurrently serve on the state board of education and a local board of education. 94-113.

CASE ANNOTATIONS

1. Statute not in violation of any provision in Kansas Constitution or United States Constitution. State ex rel. Stephan v. Johnson, 14 Kan. App. 2d 542, 543, 795 P.2d 411 (1990).

2. Eligibility of state employee in unclassified service to serve on state board of education presented; case held moot. State ex rel. Stephan v. Johnson, 248 Kan. 286, 807 P.2d 664 (1991).

3. Action by attorney challenging disqualification to represent a party to the suit examined. In re Jackson, 249 Kan. 172, 814 P.2d 958 (1991).
