8-1477. "Traffic" means pedestrians, ridden or herded animals, vehicles and other conveyances either singly or together while using any highway for purposes of travel.

1. A ridden animal and a pedestrian are both "traffic" subject to police traffic control when using a highway. State v. Jackson, 5 Kan. App. 2d 170, 613 P.2d 398.
