14-614. The board of hospital trustees shall have power to determine whether or not patients presented at said city hospital for treatment are subjects of charity, and shall fix such prices for compensation for patients, other than those who may be able to assist themselves, as the said board deems proper, the receipts therefor to be paid to the treasurer of said board and credited by the treasurer to the hospital funds.

When a city proposes incorporating into the city for hospital purposes territory that consists of multiple townships in the county in which the hospital is located, the election results in the townships in total determining whether the townships are incorporated into the city. 2012-6.
