1. Liabilities assumed by assignee upon transfer of franchise considered. Shattuck v. Pickwick Stages Corp., 135 Kan. 602, 606, 11 P.2d 996.

2. Insurance required by similar Missouri statute held not for interstate passengers' benefit. Herndon v. Daniels, 141 Kan. 893, 896, 44 P.2d 207.
