CASE ANNOTATIONS

1. Railroad desiring to transact common motor carrier business must obtain certificate of necessity and convenience; "purposes of this act" discussed. Baldwin v. State Corporation Comm., 143 Kan. 580, 585, 587, 56 P.2d 453.

2. Mentioned; restricted permit violated by private carrier; insurer not relieved of liability. Briggs v. Burk, 172 Kan. 375, 378, 239 P.2d 981.
