72-525. Qualifications of candidates for elective office upon transfer. When a transfer of school territory is effective for election purposes as provided in K.S.A. 72-523, any elector residing in the territory transferred shall be entitled to be a candidate for and hold office in the receiving district but shall be disqualified to be a candidate or hold office in the giving district.
