75-7038. Grants to counties for juvenile community correctional services. The secretary of corrections may make grants to counties for the development, implementation, operation and improvement of juvenile community correctional services including, but not limited to, restitution programs; victim services programs; balanced and restorative justice programs; preventive or diversionary correctional programs; programs to reduce racial, geographic and other biases that may exist in the juvenile justice system; community-based alternatives to detention; and community juvenile corrections centers and facilities for the detention or confinement, care or treatment of juveniles being detained or adjudged to be a juvenile offender.
