CASE ANNOTATIONS

1. Minor's land sold for taxes under former law; redemption right. Crawford v. Shaft, 35 Kan. 478, 479, 11 P. 334.

2. Section applies only to land belonging to minors when sold. Doudna v. Harlan, 45 Kan. 484, 488, 491, 25 P. 883; Kulp v. Kulp, 51 Kan. 341, 350, 32 P. 1114.

3. Insane persons not excepted from operation, § 141, ch. 34, L. 1876 (see K.S.A. 79-2505). Cartwright v. Korman, 45 Kan. 515, 518, 26 P. 48.

4. Right of minor to redeem not hindered by § 141, ch. 34, L. 1876 (see K.S.A. 79-2505). Hulsman v. Deal, 82 Kan. 518, 519, 108 P. 849; Kington v. Ewart, 85 Kan. 292, 293, 116 P. 495.

5. Sale of minor's property should be set aside where offer to redeem made in time. Montgomery County v. Wilmot, 114 Kan. 819, 822, 221 P. 276.

6. Repeal of this section did not violate 14 th amendment to federal constitution. State v. Wyandotte County Comm'rs, 154 Kan. 222, 229, 117 P.2d 591.
